There are a number of ADOPTED CODES Plancheck administers. In the pages below, we list the variety of Reference Standards our inspectors utilize performing field inspections. Please review these standards prior to scheduling work with our team. Planchek staff is apprised on the adopted codes and are available each weekday morning to assist Permit Holders.
Green Code
Maryland adopted the Green Code in 2012. All builders, Trades Men, Developers, indeed, anyone working in Construction, or suppling materials, or performing site work should understand this Code thoroughly.
Energy Codes
The International Energy Conservation Code, IECC, is adopted by the Charles County Government & the Towns. This code impacts design, construction methods, materials, and inspections. Read more details on these items.
