Planchek was approved to administer the Building Codes for the Town of La Plata in 2018. Planchek administers the adopted codes and ordinances - found on the Code Information section of this site. Timothy Rybarczyk is Planchek's representative to the Town. He is a Licensed Architect and performs services in the jurisdiction. 

 

La Plata, Maryland is a historic jurisdiction. The Town was officially Incorporated in 1888.  

The Town's boundary's lay within Charles County.  Several historic sites are found in the Town landscape.
